Last Wednesday, Bangkok Burger Company (BBC), one of the premier gourmet diners in Thong Lor, Bangkok, signed a comprehensive deal with EAST, contracting the company for the interior fit out of their new restaurant on Bangla Road in Patong, Phuket.
EAST with its flagship projects such as The Village - Coconut Island, The Chava – Surin Beach and Trisara in Naithon, successfully passed the high standards expected by BBC after rigorous and extensive evaluation.
This project is expected to continue in line with ,EAST’s strategy to further strengthen its commitment in developing unique, world-class furnishing and interior design concepts.
The initial design period took only two weeks from conception through to approval, in conjunction with Drift Interiors. There followed a two weekmock-up production time before approval and contract signing took place.
Construction is well under way, with installation of M&E plus laying of the polished concrete floors already complete.Completion is expected on time in 6 weeks, just in time for the Songkran festivities and the beginning of summer 2012.
Present during the signing were BBC’s Managing Director Jim Moroney and Phuket based investor, Peter Grimes, EAST Furniture &Interiors’ Managing Director, James Firth and Craig Paterson, MD of Drift Interiors.
The BBC’s aggressive investment and expansion plan, estimating at least 16 new outlets throughout South East Asia in the next two years, means they have already signed contracts for the third gourmet diner, and second in Bangkok, at the new Mega Mall, Bang-Na.
EAST are currently working on proposals for this project, expecting the design and quality to follow the benchmark already set and leave other design companies following in the footsteps of EAST’s already successful firm.
