After recently reaching the end of their third year operating in Pattaya, EAST Furniture & Interiors are expanding their showroom space. With most businesses in Thailand falling on hard times this last year, it is a true indication of the strength of the EAST brand of furniture. The expansion will help take the showroom floor space from just over 4,000 square feet to a whopping 10,500 square feet of usable retail space.
Having just signed contracts on the 3 adjacent shop houses, EAST are currently planning and implementing the necessary renovations required to bring the space up to EAST's standards.
This should take a further 3-4 weeks to complete and a launch party is expected after the Songkran holiday in late April 2010.
Swithun Gibbs-Kennet, a Managing Partner of EAST, says, "This new expansion will allow us to further serve our existing customers on the Eastern Seaboard and also means that we can showcase a larger range of quality furniture products and accessories."
Indeed, these are exciting times for EAST as plans are afoot to start manufacturing built in cabinetry in Pattaya, as is already being done very successfully in Phuket. Simon Hall, also a Managing Partner, commented, "The showroom expansion only facilitates our plans to get into new product lines and offering built in cabinetry services to property developers and residential owners alike."
So look out for that and news on EAST's planned Hua Hin showroom...
